        Keroro军曹以其对日本各大经典动漫作品的戏仿而闻名，包括《千面女郎》、《网球甜心》、《七龙珠》等众多的著名作品。漫画版中，对角川书店出版的漫画有较多的戏仿，如《新世纪福音战士》；动画版则因为版权的关系，比较多对同是日升动画制作的《机动战士钢弹系列》的戏仿。此外漫画中还有一些对政界人士的嘲讽。
情节简介

        Gamma星云第58号行星“K隆星”的人，为了侵略蓝星（K隆星人对地球的称呼），派遣了5人先膊慷拥嚼缎墙械鞑椤Ｆ渲蠯eroro军曹行踪败露，被蓝星人日向冬树和日向夏美发现并生擒，侵略用武器“Kero球”落入冬树手中。其后，侵略军的飞船紧急撤退，丢下了在蓝星的先遣部队。于是， Keroro军曹开始了“隶属”于日向家的生活，离散在其他地方的另外4位先遣部队成员也逐一现身…。


主要角色介绍

keroro军曹：keroro地球侵略小队的队长，寄宿在日向一家，个性调皮，贪玩而又带有点小自私，作为小队的总指挥官却总是一事无成。最大的爱好是做钢弹模型。

tamama二等兵：具有双重性格的青蛙，活泼可爱的外表下隐藏着嫉妒，暴力的另一面。爱吃零食。对keroro有着比尊敬更高的感情。

giroro伍长：真正的战士，个性刚烈，好战，始终以侵略地球为目标而奋斗着。暗恋着夏美。

kururu曹长：keroro小队的科技员，有着天才发明家的头脑。个性阴晦，唯恐天下不乱型。

dororo兵长：忍者，keroro小队的特殊战斗员，但往往被同伴们忽略。热爱大自然，有着广阔的博爱之心。

日向冬树：日向家长子，吉祥学园的初中一年级生，性格温和（但被惹怒的话将会未知程度地恐怖-_-）。不擅长运动，爱好超自然现象，并想与keroro成为朋友。

日向夏美：冬树的姐姐，吉祥学园的初中二年级生，性格刚烈，运动全能。对keroro管教严格（只是这么写是不是程度轻了些^_^），是keroro的头号惧怕对象。爱好听623的广播，暗恋着三郎学长。

日向秋：冬树和夏美的妈妈，是拥有魔鬼身材的职业女性，在角山书店的漫画部当编辑，工作狂型。对身为外星人的keroro颇感兴趣。

西泽桃华：冬树的同班同学，西泽财团的大小姐。由羞涩的外在人格，暴力的内在人格组成了双重人格。tamama的收养者。单恋着冬树。

安哥拉·摩亚：传说中的恐怖大王，以毁灭地球为目的而来。恰巧遇上童年的好友keroro，从此成为keroro小队的后援。性格单纯，善良，温柔。对keroro有着对长辈的憧憬and more^_^

东谷小雪：夏美同班的转校生，真实身份是个忍者。dororo的收养者，同样着热爱大自然。对夏美有不同寻常的感情。

三郎学长：本名北城睦实，真实身份是电台DJ 623，kururu的电波伙伴。性格浪漫，追求自由，爱好作诗，身手了得。

波尔：西泽家的总管家，全权负责帮助桃华打点一切。对西泽家忠心耿耿，极少显山露水，其实当年也是个狠角色……
